Online Payment

How to make online payment using PayPal.

We have an option of accepting online payment in our system.Our payment gateway is PayPal. For you to make any online payment to Chester Hotel, you must register an account with paypal before the payment or during the payment process. To make a payment you must be a registered user in our system through a username and password. These will enable you to login into the site. You first make an online resrvation after which you decide the mode of payment.

How to register an account in our system

Click on the create an account link on the left menu sidebar of our homepage.
This will bring a form prompting for name, username, password and verify password.
Please make sure you input the correct values and a valid email address as this will provide the verification process.
You will shortly receive an email from us asking you to verify your account registration. This is done to prevent the effects of an automatic account creation.
You can then login lusing the username and password you registered with.

How to access the payment on our website.
Please note that you must be logged in to make any payment.
Note the amount you want to pay from the rates page.

Proceed to the "Pay reservation online" form located on the left menu. You will be guided on how to finalize the process through a wizard based interface.

Our system is secure and uses secure https to conduct the transaction. Please note that you may be required to add about 3% of the amount you intend to send for processing purposes.

Cash

Payment by cash has two options: You can either pay:

• Through MPESA
• Over the counter

Through MPESA you must use a safaricom line which will enable you to send money through the phone. This is considered a secure form of payment BUT only if:

• You send to the correct phone number
• Correct amount

Bankers Cheque

You can also pay through a bankers cheque which must be addressed to Chester Hotels (K) Limited.

Credit Card

We accept all major credit cards as form of payment over the counter. Please note that you must present a valid credit card which has not expired. Otherwise it may attract some penalties by presenting an invalid credit card.

Debit Card

We also accept all the major debit cards as form of payment . Please note that the debit card must be having funds to be accepted in our hotel.
